It is a matter of question whether ethics is the present and the future concern alone rather than thinking of the pasts. Usually in such issues big voices surrounds and reverberates the concern how it could be applied retrospectively. Past is Past, but we have to focus on the present and future; which is now most often a common logic. However, I would like to share a different opinion which I feel is a practicing ethical concern apart from the lip services to correct yourselves for accessing a right sense of direction for the prospective actions. When you find faults, if any at even marginal, with your past actions or creations, you need to correct it at the very earliest; otherwise at least you retrieve that actions/creations provisionally until you reach up a stage where you are able to correct that particular actions/creations. It is apparent that if one could practice on the above said theory, certainty his/her present and future steps will go head with an involuntary scrutiny and perhaps keep a level high above the reach up of his/her ethical concern.
In fact, it's being the high quality maturity and perhaps at the early stages of your track record, wherein desirability is having the high priority than maturity, it will be very difficult to practice upon. But after a short history, when you turn back to have a look at your achievements, if something disturbs you related to ethical concern, which may be even an involuntary mistake of you identified later, leave no time to correct them through an erratum or if it doesn't work satisfactorily; go for a retraction statement implying the correction in the future. Retraction is the provisional withdrawal for renovation. Such a refined mind power is very significant quality in order to avoid the mislead of community who fall in your territory and believe on you. Also, the rectification process always put the signature of your integrity.
