Principles of feedback & transistor Oscillators

Dear students
In this lecture, we discuss the principles behind feed back mechanism in transistor amplifiers. The two types of feed back methods such as negative feedback and positive back are discussed. Positive feed back is employed in the case of transistor oscillators. The necessary condition for oscillating circuit, various elements of transistor oscillators, different types of transistor oscillators are discussed here.

Classification of power amplifiers

Dear students

Power amplifiers are classified into three. Class A, Class B and Class C power amplifiers are them.

Push pull amplifier is a featured Class B operation with two transistors connected back to back.

Practical methods of transistor biasing

Dear students,

Today we discuss the topic transistor biasing. The key points are what is meant by faith ful amplification and what the basic requirements for achieving faithful amplification. Once, the transition achieve faithful amplification, it is said to be properly biased.

There are different methods for practically biasing a transistor circuit. This is discussed here. In most practical cases CE configuration is used.
